Health Guarantee

1. Paperwork

When you pick up your puppy, you'll receive a packet with all of his/her paperwork. If you live out of province or territory and one of our delivery partners is flying or driving your puppy to you, it will be handed to you when they meet you. Inside the packet you'll find:

• Our Health Guarantee / Sales Contract
• Immunization / Vaccination Record
• Veterinary Examination Report
• ABKC (American Bully Kennel Club) Paperwork
• 3-Generation Pedigree from both parents

2. Our Guarantee

Each puppy has received up-to-date immunizations and preventive treatments for worms, giardia, and coccidia. Our partner breeders raise only high-quality, healthy males and females with no known significant health issues, health-tested for common Pocket Bully and XL American Bully breed-specific conditions.

We guarantee that the puppy we sell to you is in healthy condition at the time of purchase, and that the parents of the puppy are healthy dogs without genetic health problems that we believe are breed-worthy — meaning good conformation, good disposition, and good health.

Registration: Breeding males and females in our partner network have full ABKC registration. All puppies from their litters are eligible for either full or limited (pet only) registration. It is your responsibility to submit paperwork to the ABKC and pay the appropriate registration fees for the type of registration you desire.

3. Your Satisfaction

If your puppy isn't the right fit for your home for any reason, within 60 days of purchase you can choose either a replacement puppy of equal value or a refund of the amount you paid for the puppy.

Prior approval required: If there are any health problems requiring a veterinary procedure and/or surgery, we must be notified and give prior approval before it is performed. Procedures performed without our approval void the health guarantee immediately.

Financial responsibility: All veterinary bills are the sole responsibility of the puppy owner. Pocket XL Bullies is not responsible for any veterinary bills or medical expenses you may incur.

Why Our 60-Day Guarantee Is Different

If you research other breeders offering a "one-year health guarantee," beware — many require you to give up your dog to them just to get a replacement puppy, with no cash back. By that point, most owners are far too attached to give up their companion.

Our guarantee runs 60 days and gives you the choice of a replacement puppy of equal value or a full refund of the purchase price (shipping not included either way) — a satisfaction guarantee, not just a health guarantee. We want to be sure the puppy is a good match for your home, and this approach helps ensure none of our puppies ever end up in shelters or unwanted homes.

4. Void to This Warranty

For this guarantee to be valid, your puppy must be checked by a licensed veterinarian (DVM) within 30 days of taking possession, and the results communicated directly to us. This contract does not cover:

• Death, injuries, illnesses, or debilitating disorders resulting from accidents, neglect, or improper care.
• Injuries sustained from a jump or fall from an excessive height.
• Injuries or disorders from excessive exertion or stress, especially in hot weather, to which Bully-breed dogs can be uniquely sensitive.
• Any condition arising from a failure to provide standard, proper care.

5. How to Submit a Claim

To submit your 30-day veterinary checkup report, request medical approvals, or discuss your 60-day satisfaction window, please contact us directly:

All claims must be submitted in writing via email and include: your full name and contact information, the puppy's name, date of birth, and date of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and supporting documentation (vet records, photos, videos).

6. Important Disclaimer

This Health Guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in Canada. This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Pocket XL Bullies reserves the right to verify all claims and, at our sole discretion, determine eligibility for refunds or replacements.

7. Entire Agreement

This Health Guarantee, together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms and Conditions, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Pocket XL Bullies regarding the purchase and adoption of our puppies.
